Neil’s Hugs Foundation is undergoing a period of growth and development with a new vision for the delivery of caring services, reducing stigma around mental ill health and suicide prevention. At Neil’s Hugs Foundation we support some of the most vulnerable people in West Lothian. We have an excellent range of services for those living with mild to moderate mental ill health, supporting individuals who have someone who has attempted suicide and supporting those who have been bereaved by suicide. We do this by group support, 1:1 support and befriending. We run our groups in several different areas in West Lothian. None of this would be possible without our highly valued volunteers.
Our volunteers are at the heart of all that we do, and we rely on their support for the delivery of our services and daily operations. We could not run any of our services without their help. They bring a range of experience and life skills which we aim to deploy in the Neil’s hugs Foundation to maximize the impact they can have. Volunteers also play a key role in fundraising, supporting fundraising activities and events and organizing fundraising initiatives of their own. This is a key area of development.
The Volunteer Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining and developing the role of volunteering within the organisation to support the organisation with its service offerings, fundraising activities and events.
If you have proven experience working with and managing volunteers and are passionate about enriching/supporting people’s lives and want to join a growing West Lothian based charity, you can find out more at: www.neilshugsfoundation.com Facebook: @neilshugsfoundation
